It also lets them leave a legacy to future generations of entrepreneurs and their communities. Entrepreneurs typically engage in social entrepreneurial (SEE) by finding a need and then developing entrepreneurship and social sciences innovative solutions to meet the demand. This could include using their business expertise and relationships in order to expand into new markets or working with partners to develop more sustainable products. This could involve philanthropy in the sense that they seek to help causes that are important to them.
Academics who participate in SEE can build upon their research results by sharing them through their institutions’ publications which is an important tool for promoting the dissemination of knowledge.
